Dan Carotenuto

Co-Founder · Chief Strategy & Operations Officer

Dan is an enterprise technology leader with over 30 years of experience and more than $3–4B in career product revenue. He currently serves as Head of Data and AI Operations at GrowthZone, where he leads enterprise AI transformation, architecture, and governance.

Previously Senior Director of Product Management at SiriusXM, Dan spent 19 years at Information Builders (acquired by Tibco), where he scaled an IoT analytics line from $3.5M to $25M—pairing a builder’s instinct for products with the operational discipline to bring strategy through to execution.

Christopher Hughes

Co-Founder · Chief Research & Development Officer

Christopher is a data and AI engineering leader with over 15 years of experience spanning data engineering, AI development, and full-stack engineering. Most recently Associate Director of Data Solutions at SiriusXM, where he spent more than 12 years, he combines deep technical range with a proven track record of delivering at enterprise scale.

He has built large-scale agentic automation platforms and human-in-the-loop interfaces that cut manual data-processing time by 65–80%, and engineered data pipelines processing 100TB+ datasets—bringing a hands-on, systems-level mindset to how AI-native software gets designed and shipped.

Jason Harvey

Co-Founder · Chief Technology Officer

Jason is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience in top-tier financial services firms, spanning technology, sales and trading, operations, and risk management. A Princeton graduate, Jason combines deep expertise in complex financial products—including mortgages, credit, and fixed-income derivatives—with a proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence on a global scale.

An articulate communicator, motivator and public speaker, Jason excels at simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences, building high-performing teams, and delivering transformative results. Proficient in Mandarin Chinese (HSK Level 4 certified), Jason brings a global perspective and innovative mindset to every endeavor.

Why it’s credible

We run our own company on it.

OptivAI exists because the operating expectation at most enterprises is wrong by one to two orders of magnitude. Closing a business gap — from strategy to working software — is treated as a matter of quarters. It shouldn’t be.
